At Victorian Ceramics, we manufacture a full range of hearth tiles in traditional sizes and colours. Using original glaze recipes and traditional glazing techniques, we recreate the depth, vibrancy, and character of original Victorian tiles.
Each tile is hand-glazed individually, creating subtle variations in shade and tone — a hallmark of genuine Victorian ceramics. Our deep, glassy glazes deliver a colour intensity that’s completely unique and true to the originals.
Like original hearth tiles, our tiles have a sharp, clean edge, allowing for installation with minimal or no grout lines. The glazes naturally craze over time, enhancing their antique character and authenticity.
Traditional hearths were often laid using small-format tiles in a single colour. However, all decorative tiles within our range are suitable for hearth designs.
The tiles are suitable for laying in and around an open fire or a wood burner.
Hearth Tile Sizes
